Using the method of Adrenal Response, we guide you down the path of awareness and assertiveness. When you are confident in your abilities, you will appear, talk and act with assertiveness.   • Overview Class

    This class is perfect for those wanting to get a taste of the Method and learn some valuable skills. While the class is about an hour in length, you will learn the following:

    • Your individual adrenal response
    • Palm heal strike
    • Knee strike
    • Basic adrenaline striking

    The skills you learn will introduce you to the ACT program while giving you highly effective self-defense techiniques that work when you need them. For more info click here

  • Basics

    In the Basics class we will cover three distinct sections that will help you on your way to assertiveness and confidence. They are awareness, verbal and non verbal communication and defense, and of course the physical skills.  For more info click

  • Ground survival

    There are a lot of myths about being on the ground in fight or a self-defense situation.  I think that may be why most people find the thought of defending themselves on the ground to be very scary.  A.C.T will give you tools, the realistic practice and the confidence so that if needed, you can defend yourself on the ground and win.   • Multiple Attackers

  • Weapons Defense

    Multiple attackers are a very real, very scary situation to deal with.  So I ask the question again, How do you eat an elephant?  The answer, everybody knows, is one bite at a time. It is the same when dealing with multiple attackers- one at a time.  We go over specific highly effective strikes that are easy to do while on the move.   • Private Training

    Sometimes private training is the best option.  We will talk to you and find out what your desires and needs are.  Then a curriculum will be designed specifically for you.  This can be a one hour class, or classes over multiple days.  The sky and your desires are the only limitations.  For more info click here

Finding Your Voice & Power

Sometimes we don’t stand up for ourselves. How are we to become assertive and powerful, and stop being a target if we can’t or won’t stand up for ourselves? Finding our voice in all things is very important. This essential aspect of self-defense spills over into everyday living. In self-defense we have to be able to say “STOP” when someone does something that crosses the line, or is about to cross the line. In life we have to stand up for ourselves at work, in relationships and essentially everywhere, in order to have peace. Remember, we can never have piece in our life if we are afraid of conflict. We must master conflict in order to have peace and assertiveness. This doesn’t mean we are without fear; we actually use our fear to fuel our resolve to not be a victim, to achieve our dreams and live powerfully.

How we present ourselves to the world is extremely important, not only for purposes of self-defense, but also for achievement. In self-defense if you don’t look like an easy target, you more than likely will not be approached or attacked. As for achievement, good things come to those who have good energy and presence. An assertive demeanor will get you further in life than a passive or aggressive attitude. Understanding what is happening around us will also help us avoid bad situations. This trait can also help us get involved in good situations. Awareness is about seeing the outside world as it really is and using those observations to protect ourselves and others. We can also use those observations to help ourselves and those we care about in positive ways. Remember that it is not always about the negative, it is actually more about the positive than we would like to adm

The Physical Skills and Success

It is a well known fact that those who are skilled athletically are more assertive, and live powerful lives. The self defense application for this principle is interesting, to say the least. When a student is confident that they can defend themselves and defeat an aggressor on most levels, they gain confidence. As this confidence begins to grow, the better they get at defending themselves the more assertive they become. The life lesson here is, the better you feel physically -as in fitness, self defense and appearance- the more confident and assertive you will become. When you are confident and assertive, you are less of a target for aggression and the predators of the world.
